Position Summary

The role of the Concierge will serve to enhance the Common House Member experience by acting as a warm and welcoming face of the club delivering an excellent level of service and hospitality. In addition to acting as the face of Common House, responsibilities include but are not limited to management of reservations, communications to members, and restaurant and administrative support. A successful Concierge has a positive attitude, the ability to multitask, and a desire to work in a diverse team. Full time and part time positions available!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Member & Guest Experience
    • Enhance the member experience with positive interactions, acting as the face of the club to all members and guests, greeting them as they come and go
    • Distribute welcome packets to new members, as well as processing returns
    • Manage and alert the team appropriately about Member birthdays, anniversaries, and other notable information
    • Assist guests with all requests, including but not limited to private event inquiries, meeting spaces, potential partnerships, and special circumstances
  • Front Desk Management
    • Answer phone calls and manage the Concierge inbox and respond to requests in a timely manner
    • Maintain front desk and coat room organization
    • Manage room reservations and special requests
    • Assist other department managers, as needed
    • Manage all Programming Event RSVPs and any required communications
    • Scan and upload invoices for the Finance team
  • Restaurant & Administrative Support
    • Manage dining reservations: maximize seating/communicate preferences/even spacing/coordinate with other club events to avoid conflicts
    • Print updated BEOs to ensure the latest and most up-to-date floor plans and event-specific info is on hand for MODs and event staff
    • Create signage and special menus for events using Adobe InDesign
    • Collect relevant data and input into spreadsheets as needed
    • Host in the Restaurant floor(s) of the House when needed
